Therapy is a safe, confidential space where you can talk with a licensed professional about your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. It’s a place to feel heard, gain clarity, and learn healthy ways to cope, heal, and grow.
You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy – it’s for anyone who wants support, guidance, or a space to process life.
The Mental Space provides individual counseling, group therapy, workshops, trainings, team-building experiences, and mental wellness support for adults, schools, organizations, and athletes.
We currently accept several insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we can help you verify your benefits.
Private-pay options are also available.
Your first session is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals, and background with your therapist. Together, you’ll create a plan that supports your needs and helps you move toward meaningful growth and healing.
We offer both virtual and in-person sessions for clients located in Alabama, giving you flexibility based on your schedule and comfort.
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer that time to another client. Appointments canceled late or missed will incur a $125 fee.
Yes. Your privacy is very important to us. All sessions are confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as safety concerns), which will be explained during intake.
Booking is simple and flexible. You can schedule either a complimentary 15-minute consultation or a full session—whichever feels right for you.
